HIP #2
2019 Buckskin AQHA Mare

BURNIN UP THE FROST "Phoenix" - 2019 Buckskin AQHA Mare. She is a Sun Frost granddaughter & stands 15 hands tall. Phoenix had 6 months of cow horse training in her 4 yr. old year and shown on the Tarleton State University Stock Horse Team. She is a great horse to gather cattle or trail ride and is very sure-footed. She is safe, will speed up and slow down to a walk on a loose rein and will ride through deep mud and water. Phoenix has had one owner since she was a weanling, went through the AQHA Ranching Heritage Young Horse Development Program and competed in 2020. She won Level 3 Showmanship in 4H at the county fair as a yearling. Phoenix is safe for everyone to ride but can be lazy for beginner riders. She is easy to catch, loves attention, baths, will load herself, tie all day, great stop, and will dig a post hole while spinning. She does great over all trail obstacles, knows the barrel pattern, and has been roped off of and around mounted shooting. Owner is a college student and can't keep more than one horse, so Phoenix needs a caring home.
