He is just the right size standing 15.3hhs, with a lot of shape, and bone to him. Doc was raised on our farm, and we have done all the training on him. We have done a little bit of everything with him from riding to driving. Doc has been used from gather cattle up, check fences, to taking the family on a wagon ride, to going on a relaxing trail ride. He will go to work any direction you point him. In the barn Doc is easy going & stands patiently in the cross tie to be groomed and tacked up. Outside on the pasture he goes out with the rest of the horses and causes no issues. Doc is fun to ride in the arena or outside. His gaits a comfortable, easy and collected. Doc will walk, trot, and lope both directions. He moves off your legs, pivots around nicely. Doc is a lot of fun to ride outside too! He knows his way around cattle, he isn’t afraid to go and push them around or pull one from the horn. On the trails he is amazing. He doesn’t care if he’s in the front or the back. He is sure footed and will take care of you on any kind of trail you take him on. Doc has been to several overnight camping trips, and acts like he’s just at home. If you like to drive more than ride, he will do that for you too! He is very broke to drive double or single. Doc has been on all different farm equipment, to just taking the family to town for ice cream. We use Doc often to help train the young one to drive. He is solid and doesn’t get excited when the young ones jump up against him. Doc is an easy keeper, he requires nothing extra. He has zero health issues. Doc trailer great alone or with others.
