She has a very kind and willing disposition. Our 7- and 9-year-old boys have been using her to gather and sort cattle at the ranch. She handles time off well and has always ridden the same after allowed to get fresh. At 14.2 hands, she is the right size for a kid to ride and enjoy. She patiently stands while the kids struggle to mount her as they are not tall enough to reach their stirrup from the ground yet. She rides quiet and lopes smooth circles. This mare would fit a ranch kid, a dude ranch, youth camp or a family who is looking for a trustworthy horse for their kids to enjoy, she would also make a good trail riding horse for a smaller adult.
